Frequently Asked Questions

Why are there two sizes?

The smaller Bernini suits most pizza kitchens making standard-size pizzas with dough balls up to 300 g. If you’re offering larger pizzas, go for the bigger model – it handles portions up to 900 g with ease.

Why do I need a rounder?

To save your poor wrists, of course! It’s all fun and games in the beginning, but once production ramps up… the Bernini quickly becomes your best mate.

Is it easy to clean?

Yes – the Bernini’s smooth stainless-steel body and removable Teflon-coated spiral make cleaning quick and hassle-free.

What dough hydration does it handle?

Bernini is designed for doughs between 50% and 65% hydration. For best results, ball first with the Bernini, then proof the dough balls in the refrigerator. It isn’t intended for mass leavening before balling.
